Rosewood Court, Rosewood Property Company’s luxury office building, announced today that, Ocean Prime, an upscale Modern American Supper Club concept developed by restaurateur Cameron Mitchell, will occupy 10,000 square feet of the building’s first floor.
Scheduled to open November 2009, Ocean Prime will seat 400 patrons and feature covered terrace seating where guests will enjoy a panoramic view of downtown Dallas while dining or enjoying cocktails. Offering a seafood and steak menu, Ocean Prime offers fresh fish, handcrafted cocktails and world-class wines, with a focus on the absolute highest quality. Both lunch and dinner will be served.
“We are pleased that Ocean Prime has decided to open their first Texas location in Rosewood Court,” said Caroline Rose Hunt, long the guiding spirit of Rosewood. “Ocean Prime will provide our tenants a first class dining experience in a one-of-a-kind location.”
Chicago-based Mark Knauer’s architectural group is designing the interior dining room at Ocean Prime. It will feature warm tan finishes and rich woods, updated with draperies styled with a contemporary sheerness. Much of the restaurant’s energy comes from the lively cocktail lounge and piano bar, framed with luminescent blue light that accents the elegant granite bar tops. Ocean Prime will also feature a large interior fireplace and two additional fireplaces located outside around the terrace seating.
As guests enter this sophisticated supper club, they will immediately experience a red carpet entrance that leads to a lounge featuring an elegant flowing water wall and an impressive wall of wine. With an emphasis on private dining, Ocean Prime will feature four separate dining rooms, giving guests an intimate dining experience.

Ocean Prime is one of 17 restaurants under seven different concepts created by Cameron Mitchell, president and founder of Cameron Mitchell Restaurants and current Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Culinary Institute of America. “I look forward to bringing Ocean Prime to such a fabulous city as Dallas,” states Mitchell. “We’re thrilled to open Ocean Prime and share our extraordinary hospitality within this great community.”
The Rosewood Court property features 12,000 square feet of retail space, including the 5,000 square foot café, Paradise Bakery, 24-hour security and on-site management. Other personal conveniences available include valet parking, a fitness facility, dry cleaning, automobile detail services and membership opportunities in The Crescent Club and The Spa at The Crescent. The office building is being leased by Stream Realty Partners, L.P. and is home to The Rosewood Corporation’s corporate headquarters. The retail space is being leased by United Commercial Realty.
